Housing Projects

We will provide you a quote for all projects, which is a no obligation free exercise, so feel free to email us the details of your project. You will always receive a great price and free advice. However if you wish to work it out yourself as a rough estimate and please remember that every project varies by a multitude of factors, but a good rule of thumb is for us to document your project allow around $9 a square meter. This will include the following drawings for building approval, and construction; it will include framing, bracing plans, wet area details, finishes, fixtures and window schedules. The above fees do not include other consultant's fees and or council fees.

If there are any specific areas you want us to look at please let us know as I know we can assist in any area. Below is a list of other aspects you may be interested in.

If the ground floor is elevated off the ground, we would need to design the floor members and draft a "Floor Framing Plan" at an additional fee of $6.60 per sq.m.

• 3D computer modelling showing solar access into the building at various times of year
• Quotes from Consultants (typically from surveyor, structural engineer and building certifier)
• Co-ordination of consultants
• Complete all the Lodge applications for approvals
• Follow up to obtain the approvals
• Site Inspections of the building and with a written report

We recommend that you provide minimum of a sketch floor plan and some indication of finishes and external cladding. Issues that may affect the Quote

These prices will vary due to complexity of the project.

If a site visit and site measure is required and the distance to travel.

Councils require a Development Assessment.

Standard drafting is based on your sketch and design provided and does not include design unless noted otherwise.

There is no consultant coordination, eCAD Studio is happy to provide a list of recommended consultants and will give the client the necessary document for the clients to submit directly.

If design requirements are desired to be investigated or changes required by the client then it will be charged and quoted prior to commencement of the works.

Any Council fees or consultant fees.

Average Standard drafting cost for deck which includes full construction drawings suitable for builder and council approval is about $750 + GST. However we do encourage you to email us the details on your project as each project is different and prices could be considerably cheaper.

Prices can vary considerably and will require quotes, below are factors that may affect prices.

Average Costs will depend on size of image required.

The number of renders will also impact on the cost as discount are given for multiple renders.

Internal renders are also different prices and will be priced based on the complexity of the renders.

These costs are considerably less if we do not need to create a Model and even less again if we modelled your project for you.

As these prices vary so much and depend on multiple factors we would really need to provide you with an appropriate quote. Prices can range from $250 + GST and up depending on the points listed above.
